    Bring the week's material

    Lecture recordings, the slides, a PDF chapter, and on Plus and Pro photos of your notes or a labelled diagram.

    Say what you need

    Mnema asks only what it still needs, such as the exam and its level and the shape of the cards, then drafts them.

    Check, then study

    Open a card's source in a second: the PDF or slide at its sentence, or the lecture from about its moment. Then review with spaced repetition, cram before the exam or run a quiz.

  • Lectures: a card from a recording plays the lecture from about the moment it was said.
  • Slides and PDFs: each card made from them carries its slide or page and opens there in study.
  • No notes for a topic? On Plus and Pro, Mnema researches it on the web, reads open access medical reviews and, for a medicine, its official US drug label, and cites the page each card came from. A card from general knowledge says so.
  • Your Anki decks come with you, schedules and review history included, and go back to Anki as a package.

Check before you learn

No AI is right every time. That is why each card shows its evidence, a second check reads it against its passage, and a card says plainly when the AI added wording or used general knowledge. Keep, fix or delete each draft before it becomes a card.

Can Mnema hide the labels on anatomy diagrams?

Yes, on Plus and Pro. Upload a labelled diagram, on its own or inside a file, and Mnema hides the labels so you can name them one at a time. Labels printed in English read best today.

Can I use my existing Anki decks?

Yes. Import Anki packages up to 200 MB and 50,000 notes, media included. Cards you have studied keep their schedules.

What if my notes do not cover a topic?

On Plus and Pro, Mnema researches it on the web and cites the page each card came from. Otherwise a card written from general knowledge is labelled as such.

Is Mnema free?
