The practical details.

Yes. Mnema is free during invite-only early access, and nothing is on sale yet. After it, the planned Free plan covers cards, quizzes, study, cram, imports, exports and the public library, plus 200 AI credits every 30 days. Plus and Pro add photos of your notes, web search and diagram labels, more credits and more storage.

Everything except the assistant keeps working: writing cards, studying, cram, quizzes, imports, exports and the public library are never metered. Credits pay for AI work only, and your allowance resets every 30 days. Unused credits do not roll over.

You tell the assistant what you are learning. It asks what it needs first (goal, level, scope, card shape, which deck), then drafts cards or quiz questions from your notes, PDFs or text files, and on Plus and Pro from photographed pages or a web search with cited sources. You review, edit, approve or undo every draft before it is saved.

Spaced repetition schedules a card to return around the time your memory needs another retrieval. Mnema uses FSRS-based review alongside optional cram and quiz modes.

Yes. Anki (.apkg and .colpkg) and CSV files become editable Mnema decks, media included. Anki cards keep their schedules and review history; a CSV file starts fresh. A PDF is not an import: you attach it to the assistant, which drafts cards you review before anything is saved.

The current web app requires an internet connection. It is responsive and works in modern desktop and mobile browsers.

Mnema is designed for modern browsers on laptops, tablets and phones. The layout adapts to both compact and wide screens.

You can publish and browse shared material from the Mnema library, then import useful items into your own workspace.

Yes. You can export your decks and quizzes at any time and delete your account from Settings. For details about processing and storage, see the Privacy Policy.
